Rep Jay Chaudhuri

I believe safe, secure, and fair elections are the foundation of every other freedom we hold. When voters trust that their ballot will be counted accurately and their voice will be heard, our democracy is stronger and its outcomes are accepted by all. Protecting that trust is a duty I take seriously as a public servant.

Our system of checks and balances and free and fair elections are the bedrock of our democracy. In the United States, we follow the law, common sense and facts when it comes to our elections. That means accepting the results, respecting the election process, and embracing these principles.
