Elections have been secure and trustworthy in America for generations; each generation of Americans taking steps to improve speed, accuracy, and certainty. We cannot abandon those values. We must uphold the principles our election system is built upon while pushing against the recent efforts to impugn, insult, and erode faith in the process. We must continue to enact laws and policies that safeguard every American's right to vote while ensuring any discrepancy or issue is resolved with transparency and clarity to ensure the trust and support of Americans around our nation continues for generations to come.
