One of the most critical differences between a successful and failed Democracy is an election system that all of the citizens believe accurately reflects the will of the voters. Coupled with an unwaivering commitment to the peaceful transfer of power, a free and fair judiciary with power and authority to enforce it's decisions, and the nation will be safe from civil war. Degrade even one of them, and the nation will destroy itself from within. Today, Donald Trump is actively and strenuously pushing our great Democratic Republic into Civil War 2.0, solely for his own purposes. Namely, his own gain, his own power, and his own revenge upon Americans who rejected him in 2020. Donald Trump is categorically incapable of abiding by the will of anyone but himself, least of all the will of the voters, unless that will conforms to his own in absolute, abject fealty. His rhetoric is flush with talk of liberty and national greatness, but his behavior and his actions smack of a Fascist Dictator in the process of taking absolute power unto himself. If the Great nation of the UNITED States of America descends into civil war, or let's it's members forsake our union in any other circumstances, America will utterly fall off of the world stage, and the cause of liberty will be lost on Earth for thousands of years. But Donald Trump will be even more gleeful than when he watched on TV his armed mob break into the Capital Building. Then he will set himself up as sole and absolute ruler over whatever scraps of America remain. And all through the fall of our great nation, Donald Trump will blame everyone but himself, never taking one shred of responsibility for anything, while taking credit for everything left that is good, starting with the sunrise and sunset.
