Michael Dorland

I'm a write-in candidate. My votes only count because election workers follow the rules, read every ballot, and count the oval someone filled in by hand. I'm trusting the process to work, and I owe it the same respect. I've said publicly that write-ins usually lose. When I do, I'll accept it, thank the people who counted, and congratulate whoever won. That's what trusted elections look like.
