If elected I will ensure that New York has election integrity. This will include introducing a Voter Protection Bill that will require New York State to protect the right to vote of all American citizens of residing in our state. It will include a requirement for no cost voter identification, verification of NYS residency, and verification of immigration status. According to John Conklin, a spokesman for the state Board of Elections, "There is no publicly accessible database from the federal government for states to verify the citizenship of voters.” Our right to vote as United States citizens is sacred and must be protected. New York State must ensure that every legal vote is counted through fair and free elections.
