Our constitutional order is under the greatest threat since the Confederacy. This president has taken it upon himself to render entire sections of the Constitution of the United States null and void. Emoluments, several amendments of the Bill of Rights, and Congress' power of the purse and authority to declare war. This president weakens our electoral system with a flood of lies about voter fraud, undocumented immigrants, and mail balloting. He raises unfounded suspicions and sets them about a pillar of our democracy like termites. We need a Congress that will reassert its Article I powers, restrain this out-of-control administration, and hold the people within it accountable. That means prosecutions.
