Watching the video of the various retired military officers voicing concerns inspired me. I am a retired military officer and a retired women's health nurse practitioner. I am very distressed at the attempts I see to create the impression that our voting system is fraudulent. I believe in our voting process. I have been an early voting temp for the past 2+ years. I have seen how hard people work in nonpartisan ways to ensure the voting process is free, fair, transparent, and safe. We must continue to improve and refine the process and prevent attempts to suppress voting and disenfranchise certain groups.
